Just One Man

Written by Jennifer Johnson

How just one Man could free me
One heart, one soul can save me?
I cannot comprehend
Through my neighbor I can feel His hand
In the sun I see His glory
Peace is with me
I will not deny
Be Still and know

How could one Man rescue me?
Support my heavy yoke
I do not know,
Upon the wings of His spirit He carries me
My joy is full
Despite my broken heart
I cannot deny
Be Still and Know

Face to Face one day
When precious things of earth and sky
Change in a twinkling, Glorious
I could not deny
My Rock, My Light
One Heart and One Soul
Be Still and Know
Just One Man

I am a mother, a daughter, a sister and a preschool teacher. Each role comes with the stinky and the lovely. I live my life based on my faith that God will direct and as I follow life is and will be glorious. I write because I love words.
